Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Hoff Home (Hoff Timber Ltd) is hereinafter referred to as “H H”, the online home decor store.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the H H website, including the purchase of goods and services from the website. By using the website or placing an order on it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We advise you to read them carefully before using the website or placing an order.
- Purchase and Payment
2.1. Product Availability: All products displayed on the website are subject to availability. In the event that a product is out of stock, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative or a refund. 2.2. Product Descriptions: We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information and reserve the right to amend errors or omissions without prior notice. 2.3. Order Acceptance: Placing an order on the website constitutes an offer to purchase the products listed in the order. All orders are subject to acceptance by H H, and we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase at any time. The contract between you and H H will be completed upon the dispatch of the products ordered, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it at least 48 hours prior to dispatch. 2.4. Payment: All payments must be made through our secure payment gateway. We accept major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal. Payment must be made in full at the time of placing an order.
3.1. Delivery Information: We offer delivery to the UK and selected international destinations. Delivery times and charges vary depending on the delivery address, the products ordered and case of “force major”. 3.2. Delivery Process: We will deliver the products ordered to the delivery address provided by you during the checkout process. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order has been accepted, and we will inform you of the estimated delivery date by email. We aim to deliver within the estimated timescales, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control. Heavy goods are delivered to ground floor only, (adequate labour etc. must be provided for unloading by the customer). If there is a delay, we will contact you to inform you of the revised delivery date. 3.3. Risk and Ownership: The products ordered will be at your risk from the time of delivery. Ownership of the products ordered will only pass to you upon our receipt of full payment, including any delivery charges.
- Returns and Cancellations
4.1. Returns: We offer a 14-day returns policy for most products, subject to certain exceptions. The special and bespoke orders can't be returned or cancelled for any reason at any time. If you wish to return a product, you must inform us in writing within 5 days of receipt of the product. The product must be returned to us in its original condition and packaging, and you will be responsible for the cost of returning it. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the product is not returned in its original condition or if it has been used or damaged. 4.2. Cancellations: If you wish to cancel an order, you must inform us as soon as possible. If the products have been dispatched, you must return them to us in their original condition and packaging, and you will be responsible for the cost of returning them. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the products are not returned in their original condition or if they have been used or damaged. Please note that in the event of a cancellation, the Buyer is responsible for paying all costs associated with returning the order. The item is the Buyer's responsibility until it reaches our designated returns address.
The colouring of any Product as shown on the Site may vary from the Product delivered due to limitations in the display capabilities of software or hardware used to access the Site. This will not happen in any material way however. Accordingly any images of a Product on the Site is for illustrative purposes only and any actual Product may vary slightly from those images (but not in any material way).
- Intellectual Property
All content on H H, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of H H or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. The use of any content from the e-shop without our express written permission is strictly prohibited.
- Force Majeure
“Force majeure” means any unforeseeable circumstance which is beyond the control of a Party, or any unavoidable event, even if foreseeable, as a result of which such Party is unable to perform its obligations, in whole or in part, under this Agreement. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, any strike, factory closure, explosion, maritime peril, natural disaster, act by a public enemy, fire, flood, accident, war, riot, insurgence or any other similar event.
- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
- Changes to the conditions
We may revise these Conditions at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you. Some of the provisions contained may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on the Website.
